My 10 year old brother Storm has been feeling insecure about his back brace, I promised him I'd take pictures of it so he'd feel stylish.

He has to wear it because he has scoliosis and spina bifida, but he only has to wear it for 5 more months I think.

And today was bath day for the Oldcat!
She's gained a lot of weight in the last month or so.



Anywho, today's pretty cool. I'm totally about to eat some brownies and ice cream. ♥

I really suck at checking my flist lately. Sorry, real life has been too awesome to be sitting in front of a computer screen!

I had to wear one of those for years. Mine even looked a lot like his does. I think I stopped right after high school, and the only times I didn't wear it was when I was sleeping. So let him know he's not alone.

He has to wear his for 12 hours a day, so he wears it from 7pm to 7am, and he only has to wear his for 6 months (hopefully. This is kind of a test run). And when I told him that you had to wear a back brace too he said "NIFTY!" and did a little victorious hand-motion. XD

I promised I'd paint something cool on his back brace, too. He wants me to paint Captain America, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to pull it off.

He's super-obsessed with Captain America. Our whole family is a bunch of comic book nerds (like naming their first son Storm, having X-Men posters in the living room, and my own mom freaking out about the new Iron Man movie).

These pictures are the most confident I think I've ever seen him, it was a good idea to raise his self-esteem. He's usually very slouchy and grumbly.

BUT THE OTHER ONE IS EVEN CUTER, I SWEAR! I'll have to take some pictures of him.

Yeah, she's getting too old to keep herself clean, so when she gets greasy, Storm and I give her a bath. XD
She looks skinny there, but just a month ago, I could make a circle out of my thumb and middle finger, and it would fit all the way around her stomach/spine.

And yes, Storm is growing out of his painfully awkward stage. XD

The Ooooldcat's name is actually Keesha, but she's old, so we really only ever call her oldcat. XD She's ALWAYS touching me. If I'm making dinner, drawing, on the computer, folding laundry... she's snuggling me. It's usually cute, but sometimes annoying.

And yes, the small children are ADORABLE!
